Heading off to Bairnsdale today for what promises to be an excellent night, at the Collins Booksellers bookshop, at 166 Main Street.

I’m appearing alongside a bunch of other authors, including Belinda Hawkins, Kate Forster, Chris Uhlmann, Anne Crawford and William McInnes to discuss “Writing Fact and Fiction”. Quite a few of us are, or were, journalists, so it’s an interesting topic for us as well as, hopefully, the Gippsland audience.

On the downside, I just checked the BOM, and the word on the meteorologist street is that it’s getting down to five degrees in Bairnsdale this weekend. We’re packing warm.
